It is not only industrial gas plants, who are compressing different product gases, who require a compressed gas to be contaminant free. Most industrial sites use compressed air, which is available from their own compressor. Oil and water mists can cause freezing of air lines in cold weather, instrument problems and numerous other difficulties. A small degree of time and cost can solve these problems, by installing a candle filter.
