Plants making NPK or other complex fertilisers have requirements for demisters and even coalescers in different positions within their processes. More specific filter requirements are found in the production of Ammonium Nitrate and Urea, where demisters, scrubber coalescers, and fibre bed mist eliminators are used. The type of filter can be decided by allowable pressure loss, by emission limit ( particles or gas ) or by space available.
