SULPHURIC ACID / CROSS FLOW STRIPPER

PROCESS INFORMATION
In a H2SO4 plant, acid can recirculate between the Drying and Absorbing Towers. A cross flow stripper is used to remove dissolved SO2. Acid droplets are mechanically entrained, typically as a load of 500mg/m3. The particle size spectrum will be > 3 micron.
